The success of SRI harvesting result in 2007 at Cianjur encourage the management of Medco Group to execute an organic rice farming business in Bali. Medco Group established PT. Bali Sri Organik (BSO) in 2015 as the result.

Starting from 1,2 hectare, the BSO rice field area continued to flourish and currently reach 35 hectares spread across in Subak Sangeh and Subak Sengempel. BSO partnered with 100 local farmers to operate the rice fields.

In terms of managing the farming land, BSO had paid attention to environmental sustainability. BSO avoided the use of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides to produce high-quality rice. To meet the customer’s demand, BSO had already created many variants such as Menthik Susu white rice, red rice, brown rice, and black rice.
