On 5 February 2013, MedcoEnergi received a courtesy visit from Director of Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Mineral Mukalla Branch, Hadramaut Province, Mr. Abdulsalam Ba 'abud. In the visit, he was accompanied by Director of Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Mineral Seiyun Branch, Hadramaut Province, Mr. Juman Baraba. This visit was received directly by the President Director & CEO of MedcoEnergi, Mr. Lukman Mahfoedz.

The fast growth in Business sector in Palembang, South Sumatera, showed positive trend in recent years. That situation encourage Bank Saudara to expand their business in the city which famous for its “empek-empek”, the traditional food made of fish. After opening many branch offices in Jawa and Bali, Bank Saudara decided to open a branch office in Palembang, which located at Jalan Basuki Rahmat No 886A.

The number of agro industries in Merauke has increased during the last years after the declaration of the Merauke Integrated Food and Energy Estate (MIFEE). Along with increasing industrial activities, the annual electricity demand also increased. The data from PLN Merauke shows that the demand of electricity power for household and industrial activities has increased by 9 to 10 percent every year. In 2012, the minimum load of electricity demand reached 9-10 MW with the peak loud is 14,5 MW. In order to supply the demand, PLN Merauke still use Diesel Power Station (PLTD) which only have 3,5 MW capacity, and the rest were still supplied by rental basis.
